The Dreamiest Staycation at The Queensberry Hotel

The Queensberry Hotel is a luxury boutique hotel in the heart of the bath city. Housing the only Michelin-star restaurant in town.

If you’re looking for a City break without all the hustle and bustle of corporate city life, this is the perfect little getaway.
The Queensberry Hotel is in the perfect location for just about anything. A stone’s throw away from just about everything, the Thermae Bath Spa where you can bathe in the natural spring bath on a rooftop, visit the Roman baths, the stunning Pulteney bridge, the royal crescent and, of course, Bath Abby, all within a few minute walking distances – and the walk is so gorgeous and scenic even when we went in the cold winter months it was so peaceful full of cute little cafes, pubs and restaurants and I love Baths old architecture.

The Queenberry hotels exterior keeps in with the dominant Georgian architectural style that Bath is so known for, and from the outside, it looks like your typical, bath-terraced building. But, when you go inside, it’s like a labyrinth, a Michelin-star restaurant downstairs, a bar upstairs, and various spaced-out rooms. If you book the four-poster room like we did, it is the most spacious room with a huge four-poster bed, sofa and the most extensive en suite you can imagine! Holding a double shower, free-standing bath and a Dyson hairdryer; what more could you possibly want? It made getting ready in a hotel all the more luxurious, especially when heading downstairs to a Michelin-star restaurant.

They also offer parking, which we paid for in advance, and they have someone park it for you when you arrive, and then you just phone reception and ask them to get the car ready for you, and that’s it! The staff were accommodating and attentive, and room service was great; we ordered a few drinks while getting ready. We also tried out the bar, which had a cute fireplace to sit in front of while sipping cocktails – the perfect pre-drinks vibe.

We stayed for two nights, but I would happily stay for an extra night or two to really enjoy the hotel. There’s so much to do at Bath, so returning to a luxurious stay is nice. I decided once I arrived, I would revisit again. I honestly couldn’t recommend this hotel enough for a couple’s city break.
